La producción de la secuela de Un Viernes de Locos, la exitosa comedia de The Walt Disney Studios de 2003 protagonizada por Jamie Lee Curtis y Lindsay Lohan, comienza hoy en Los Ángeles. La película se estrenará en 2025 solo en cines.

Jamie Lee Curtis y Lindsay Lohan vuelven a interpretar a Tess y Anna Coleman. Otros miembros del reparto original regresan incluyendo a Mark Harmon, Chad Michael Murray, Christina Vidal Mitchell, Haley Hudson, Lucille Soong, Stephen Tobolowsky y Rosalind Chao. A ellos se unen Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons, Manny Jacinto y Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.

La película es dirigida por Nisha Ganatra. Los productores son Kristin Burr, Andrew Gunn y Jamie Lee Curtis, con Nathan Kelly, Ann Marie Sanderlin y Lindsay Lohan como productores ejecutivos. La secuela de la entrañable película de 2003 cuenta con un giro multigeneracional, se sitúa años después de que Tess (Curtis) y Anna (Lohan) sufrieran una crisis de identidad. Anna tiene ahora su propia hija y pronto tendrá una hijastra. Mientras afrontan los innumerables retos que surgen cuando dos familias se fusionan, Tess y Anna descubren que un rayo podría caer dos veces.
